Lorraine Bernadette Brown, 85, of Hilo died Aug. 9 at home. Born in Honolulu, she was a homemaker. Celebration of life at 10:15 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 26) at Valley of the Temples Chapel in Kaneohe, Oahu. Burial and luncheon to follow. Survived by daughter, Cynthia (Truston Davis) Kia Abilay of Hilo; sons, Guy Dennis Brown of Hilo and Abel (Sharon) Thomas Brown of Boulder, Colo.; four grandchildren, one hanai granddaughter and two great-granddaughters. Wilferd W. Daniels, 94, of Keaau died Sept. 15 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Tulsa, Okla., he was a retired carpenter and U.S. Army Air Corps World War II veteran. Services at a later date.
